Fiscal Sponsorship
Lift Up Africa Fiscal Sponsorship Guidelines

Lift Up Africa offers fiscal sponsorship services to individuals and projects that do not have 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt status. These projects must operate exclusively to meet the broad provisions of our incorporation statement which is to support humanitarian and education projects on the African continent.

Fiscal sponsorship broadens the available funding avenues an individual or project can pursue.

However, fiscal sponsorship does not provide grants. Additionally, it is a common practice to charge a small administrative fee to cover sponsorship expenses. This is a sliding scale that is dependent on how much work Lift Up Africa, the sponsoring agency, would be required to do.

If you have questions or would like to receive a copy of our application packet, please contact us at info@liftupafrica.org.

Hamomi

Hamomi Hamomi Children's Centre is a primary school whose mission is to improve the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in the slums of Nairobi.  They develop adults with the skills necessary to improve their social and economic condition, by providing education and access to basic needs in a safe and nurturing environment. Education alone is not enough. Students must have the proper prerequisites to learn along with the economic opportunities to use their education to improve their and their communities’ lives. Hamomi is continually striving towards self-sufficiency, through sustainable investments and building a community of supporters committed to the Hamomi mission.
